Ethel Carrick-Fox was a British born post-impressionist painter celebrated for her vibrant use of colour, light and movement. While often linked to her husband Emanuel Phillips Fox, she sustained a prolific and independent practice that spanned continents including Europe, India, North Africa and Australia.
