This fine Wunda shield has a tall, elegant form; strong but thin, the shield is perfectly weighted. The front of the shield bears a well executed, characteristic design known as pandal, with the upper and lower lines arranged in a vertical pattern and the middle register lines laid out at an oblique angle. The shield has a fine patina overall.
